Questions about your account, billing, and data
The day-to-day questions from people already running MakeTheQueue. For plan prices and trials see pricing, for what the product is see the glossary, and for step-by-step setup see the help center.
Setup and hardware
Create an account, add your location, name your first queue, and print the QR code. The whole process takes under 15 minutes, and the help center walks through each step. No hardware, no IT setup, no training required.
Yes. The dashboard works in any web browser on a phone, tablet, laptop, or desktop. There is no separate app to install, and every team member signs in with their own login.
Yes. Create separate queues for different services, departments, or events at a location. Each queue has its own settings and wait estimate, and customers pick the one they want when they check in.
Yes. Upload your logo, set your brand colors, and edit the wording of the messages customers receive. The check-in page, kiosk, and TV display all use your branding, and the Business plan can remove MakeTheQueue branding entirely.
No. MakeTheQueue runs in any web browser. Staff use the phone, tablet, or laptop they already have; a spare tablet becomes the self check-in kiosk and any TV with a browser becomes the waiting room display. There is no proprietary hardware to buy.
Your data and security
Your data is yours. We do not sell customer data, we do not sell your business data, and we do not use it for advertising. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
Yes. The Business plan exports the waitlist, your customer records, and analytics to CSV from the dashboard. If you are on another plan and need an export, email support and we will send one.
Only what you ask for. The check-in form can collect a name, phone number, email, and party size, plus any custom fields you add. You choose which fields appear and which are required, and the TV display shows first names and last initials only.
Yes. Email support from the address on your account and we will close it and remove your data. If you are on a paid plan, cancel first from Settings, then Plan, so you are not billed again.
Analytics, integrations, and short-term use
Yes. Paid plans include an analytics dashboard that tracks wait times, service times, peak hours, no-show rates, and throughput by queue, location, and time of day, and the Business plan exports it to CSV. The free plan keeps a week of visit history.
Paid plans include a REST API so your developers can connect MakeTheQueue to your own systems, and every plan includes an embeddable widget that lets customers join your queue straight from your website.
Yes. Sign up, use it for as long as you need, and cancel any time. There are no contracts and no cancellation fees on the self-serve plans, and the Business trial included with every new account covers many single events on its own.
Support and switching
Every plan includes real human support. Email us and a person responds; paid plans get email support directly and Business gets priority. We are a small team and we know your name.
Yes. There is no data migration to run: create your queues, share the new QR codes, and you are live. Export your customer list from the old tool first if you want to keep it, and see the comparison pages for how MakeTheQueue lines up against the tool you are leaving.
In the dashboard under Settings. Plan and billing changes take effect immediately, and the pricing page lists what each plan includes.
