The display board is a read-only screen for a TV or monitor in your waiting area. It shows your location name, who is currently being served, and who is waiting, all grouped by queue. No login is needed, so any Chromecast, Fire Stick, or old laptop plugged into the TV will do.
Open the display
- On the device connected to the TV, open a browser and go to
/display/:locationId. The display is per location and covers every queue at that location in one view. - Put the browser in fullscreen (press F11 on most devices, or use the browser's fullscreen setting).
- Leave it running. The page auto-refreshes every 15 seconds, so as soon as a staff member serves, completes, or adds someone in the admin app, the TV updates on its own.
What customers see
Each queue shows the person currently serving and the waiting list. Names are shortened for privacy, for example "John S." instead of a full last name. Phone numbers and emails never appear. If the network or API is briefly unreachable, the page shows a fallback message until it reconnects.
If your staff set a station name in the admin (the Set station button next to Call Next), the display also shows where each called customer should go, for example "John S. → Window 3".
Common problems
- Display shows an error. Check that the device has internet and that the location ID in the URL is correct.
- TV goes to sleep. Turn off screen timeout on the streaming device or laptop driving the TV.
- A queue is missing. Only queues attached to the location in the URL appear. Check that the queue is assigned to the right location in Settings then Queues.
- Last names look wrong. That is by design. The display only shows first name plus last initial.
